February Sickness

It snowed a ton one day in Salt Lake, but here in Davis County, we barely got anything. But anyway, the governor called for a late start for work, but unfortunately, Nate was already practically to work when it was announced, so he just worked. But they allowed him to go home early, so that was nice.

Ethan learned to go up and down stairs! He was so proud of himself and practiced doing it over and over again.

For Kylie's neighborhood preschool, we went on a Field Trip to Mrs. Cavanaugh's Chocolate Factory. The kids enjoyed it and we got some ice cream and chocolate!

Taking turns being sick. I got sick for Valentine's Day. We ended up just getting Blizzards from Dairy Queen and watched Footloose. We continued to celebrate Valentine's Day the next day (Friday) by going to Olive Garden. I was still sick but it was good to get out. It snowed a ton when we were at Olive Garden.

My parents came to stay at our house that night as well because one of my mom's best friends died and she lived in Davis County so they thought it would be easier to stay at our house the night between the viewing and the funeral the next morning. My mom spoke at the funeral and felt that this was one reason their mission call had been delayed. They kept having weird things happen with their call. It sat for awhile, then came back that my dad had to explain about his sleep meds (or something) so that delayed things and then it sat again, and anyway, I can't remember all that happened, but there was a lot of waiting.

For President's Day we decided to go to the Treehouse Museum in Ogden. It is a fun children's museum with lots of fun, hands-on activities. We decided to buy a year long membership so as long as we go more than twice it should pay for itself. Our kids have fun, especially Kylie.

Our string of sickness continued. Kylie got the stomach flu Thursday night and threw up several times. The next Friday night Ethan threw up some time in the middle of the night. We did not know that it happened so he slept like that all night. Poor guy.

Saturday we finally got some good weather so we were able to take the Christmas lights off of our house. And we went to Menchies for some frozen yogurt that night.

Ethan and Weston are sometimes best friends and sometimes screaming at each other. This was a time of being best friends:)

Ethan did not like the huge coat and the boots. He didn't move the whole time we were outside building a snowman!
