Before Kylie's birthday, on a Monday, the kids and I went to Classic Fun Center in Layton. We decided to go without Nate so that we could get there right when it opened for Ellison Park students (the event was put on by the PTA, so we were able to get in for cheap). It seems like it gets busier the later it gets, so we didn't want to wait for Nate. Instead, he got pizza for us to eat as soon as we got back home. The kids loved the bounce houses. Logan was good to stay with Kylie the whole time and help her out. Ethan didn't do anything and stayed with me.
It was Kylie's birthday was the next weekend! We went to Burger King on Friday (Kylie's choice since it has a fun playground).
We had a birthday party for her on Saturday. The theme of her party was Doc McStuffins. We invited all of the family in Utah. I did the build your own soup thing again and made bandaids out of wafers, "cotton balls" out of marshmallows, "Cough Syrup" with red jello, and of course, a pink cake. The only game we did was "Pin the bandaid on the Lamby." I bought fun bandaids from Dollar Tree and the kids had to get it closest to her owie. I think they had fun with that. Kylie got a microphone and ukulele from us. That is what she had been asking for. She got a big doll (off-brand American Girl doll) from my parents, a purse from Nate's parents, a Minnie Mouse bag from Tiff (that she can color on), a book from Missy (her favorite) and I can't remember what else.

Kylie is a girly-girl. She loves wearing dresses, changing shoes, and Doc McStuffins. She wants to be a Doctor when she grows up. She also loves getting her toe nails painted. I love that she is so good at playing and she says the cutest things when she plays. She likes to sing and makes up songs often. She has a bit of a temper, especially towards Logan, since he likes to tease her.
Our biggest struggles with her though is the potty. She has accidents often. It has been a year since she was potty-trained, so this isn't normal. I finally decided to see if the internet had any good ideas and I came across a book. I first just read the sample (before buying it) and it sounded exactly like her problem! She holds her poop and pee for as long as she possibly can, then has accidents. So I bought the kindle version of the book and learned that she is constipated. We need to get her unblocked and then get her peeing and pooping on schedule. I also learned, that since she has had this problem for such a long time, it will take a long time for her intestines to heal and work properly again. It said about as long as they were constipated is about as long as it will take for them to heal. So I am thinking in about year, things will be better. So after unblocking her, the book says to keep giving her Miralax everyday for awhile in order to keep the poop soft so that it won't hurt her to poop and so it won't get blocked up again. Of course, the book suggested to talk to a doctor first. Well, her appointment was coming right up, and, low and behold, she had a pooping accident while we were there. So Dr. Sigg saw first hand what the issue was and he felt her belly and could tell she was constipated and he said to do exactly what that book said to do. So we gave her an enema a day for a few days and started her on Miralax. Unfortunately, it is still a work in progress, but at least we know what the problem is so it is easier to be patient when she has accidents.
She is still a little girl. Around 15th percentile for height and under the curve for weight.

| I actually can't remember what this was for. It seems like it was a Dr. Suess thing at the school. |
