Mission Reunion

The next weekend, and last weekend in September, we went to Nate's mission reunion. It was much better attended than mine was in April. We decided to take Logan with us so we got there just as it started and left earlier than a lot of people. They had Jimmy John's sandwiches and chips and things and people just chatted. Nate actually didn't know a ton of people there as some were older or younger than him in the mission, but we did talk to a few and I met wives and children and we found out that one of his old companions (a Korean named Elder Lee), owned a Sushi restaurant in Murray (or was it Midvale? I get those two confused.).

So a few weeks later, some of the mission buddies planned an evening to eat there so we went. Yes, I ate Sushi! And it was really good! I ordered a kind that wasn't fish, but Nate did and I tried his and liked it! There was cream cheese in it which helped mask the fish taste. It was quite busy there so he obviously does well. We were treated like royalty there. Elder Lee kept bringing out more and more food on the house. It was difficult to leave because he just kept bringing more out! But Logan was getting tired and rambunctious so we had to. Nate really enjoyed catching up with friends and they all enjoyed reminiscing about the mission and particularly the food.
