Other August Things

I'm not sure the order of other things in August, but we also did some shopping with just the girls. Cindy, Debbie, Stephanie, Alyssa and me at Farmington Station. We also went to City Creek to shop and Nancy came with us then. I rarely bought anything but it was fun to spend time with the sister-in-laws.

We took the kids to the splash pad when Stephanie's family was here. It was sprinkling, but the kids didn't seem to mind. Maycee was really funny. She would run around not getting wet, and if she got a little wet, she would immediately come back to dry off. Then Logan was playing with a thing that is like a water gun. You move it around to point it at different people to get them wet, and he totally got Maycee with it. She was not happy! I don't even think he realized what he did.

The Ogden Temple open house was going on. It has been totally remodeled. So we all except the Garrisons went to that. I loved the paintings in the temple. I haven't seen them anywhere else. And it was very ornate and beautiful. We had also gone with my mom earlier, so we got to go twice!

The kids also played in the water in the backyard at some point. Grandma filled up the kiddie pool, set up the slip n' slide, and a sprinkler. The kids had a ball!

We went to Scheels with the Garrisons and looked at the animals and the younger kids played in the playground thing.

We couldn't figure this out very well. You can't actually see the deer so it's hard to know where to stand
This is what it looks like when not looking through the camera there

And of course we all had fun at home talking and catching up. The kids stayed up late and enjoyed playing together as well.

All together again. It had been since our wedding which was 4 years ago.
