Scrappin' at the Cabin
In September, I left Nate and Logan for 2 days and a night to go to my Aunt Doralyn's cabin to do some scrapbooking. It was really fun because all of my sisters were there, my mom and all of my aunts except the one in California. And some of my cousins. It was tons of fun chatting and doing crafts together. And I am in desperate need to work on scrapbooking. I have a college one to finish (still from before my mission), mission one to finish, and I might even have more for our wedding one. I'm not doing any more scrapbooking besides those. I'll just be doing blog books. I figure that it will save time since I'm already blogging and possibly even save money since I won't have to print out pictures and buy all the cutsie things. So far I've only finished one book that was from our wedding to right before Logan was born. And that way I can just print a bunch of the same books for each child to have instead of making a bunch of different scrapbooks.
Anyway, I was able to get a lot done, which I was happy about. But I still have tons to do. We also spent some time in the hot tub (since Missy and I were both pregnant, we made sure we didn't stay in too long and sometimes just sat on the edge of it if we were getting a bit hot.) We also took a walk around a lake nearby and saw some deer. My dad even joined us for that. And the one night we stayed up late working and watching movies. I also realized that I really don't sleep well without Nate. I'm not used to being away from him. But it was still fun and a nice break from being a mom.
