Antelope Island

There were only about 2 full days when all of the family was here at the same time and it was crazy! But during that time, we got pictures taken at Layton park. A friend of Grandpa's did the pictures for free, which was really nice. We were a very large group! I only have the picture of our family on my computer, so I'll have to get those from Nate soon.

Another day, we all went to Antelope Island. Ever since we went there, Logan will occasionally ask to see Buffaloes. We saw quite a few so it was fun! We first stopped at the Visitor's Center, then an old farm. After the farm, some went home, and the rest of us headed to the Great Salt lake. It was an insanely long walk across the beach to actually get to the water, and Nate was working that day or something, so I had to carry Logan most of the way there and it was tiring. And after that long walk, most of the kids were too scared of the flies on the beach to go into the water. We kept trying to tell them that it gets better once you get in the water, but they still wouldn't have it and went back pretty quickly. Logan wasn't phased and went in too far and got his clothes wet since we didn't bring a swimsuit! He didn't want to go back. But everyone else was ready. So we had to make the long trek back to the car. Logan walked a pretty long ways, but it was too far for him so I had to carry him again. Luckily, when my arms were dying and it was just so hot, Karl came up from behind and carried him and Annalisa the rest of the way. He was sweating so much, poor guy. But he was my hero that's for sure. It's not like I was very far along in my pregnancy, but I was dying. But I'm glad we did it. The Great Salt Lake is always an interesting experience.
